Collective labour law

Many sectors deal with collective employment agreements (CBAs). In these covenants, employers’ organisations and workers’ organisations stipulate the agreements they have reached. Employers may be obliged to apply a CBA, which may affect the terms of employment in an organisation. Agreements can also be made at company level, such as company arrangements or a social plan in case of a reorganisation.

Fender Advocaten’s specialised employent law lawyers counsel employers in matters related to collective labour law, such as drawing up of CBAs and social plans.

We also assist both employers and employees in disputes about the application of collective terms of employment.
