Sebastiaan was sworn in as an attorney-at-law in November 2020 and has been part of Fender Advocaten since 2023. Sebastiaan obtained his master’s degree in law from Tilburg University in 2020 and has since worked exclusively in employment law. In 2026, Sebastiaan completed the postgraduate Grotius Academie employment law specialisation program cum laude.
As an employment law specialist, Sebastiaan deals with all facets of employment law and assists both employers and employees. He is also particularly interested in the international aspects of employment law, for example with regard to cross-border work and transnational provision of services, as well as legal issues related temporary employment. Sebastiaan is a member of the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), as well as the Association of Young Employment Lawyers (VJAA) and has published in the Journal of Dismissal Law (TvO).
